A Masquerade Gala
Unmasking the Arts is a fundraising gala that gives guest a classic, eclectic and creative experience which supports our efforts to reach our goal. XI Magazine has a mission to raise money in order to fund our internship program and mass print magazines for distribution.
We have a goal of raising $10,000 in order to print our first mass print copy magazines to distribute throughout colleges, universities, and small businesses around the metropolitan areas with the efforts to expose and connect the small business community with our college demographic.
XI Magazine will kick off its very 1st annual celebratory black-tie gala on Saturday, October 3,2019 at a private location. This evening's theme is inspired by the variety of genres of the Arts, which is exhibited in our nights presentation. We will be unveiling the stories of artists, businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the night. Luminaries of media, political representatives, influential activist, artist, college representatives and social influencers are expected to attend this very special event. In addition we will be honoring and recognizing pillars amongst our community.
Arriving at the gala, guest will have an opportunity to enter upon listening to the sounds of DC Strings Orchestra while viewing the special exhibitions of XI Magazines highlighted images and articles before enjoying cocktails and pursuing a silent auction that will feature a highly curated selection of works created by college artists and various designers, as well as one-of-a-kind gifts live music, and world travel.packages. Finger foods and dancing will follow with several unmasking surprises
Proceeds from the Fall Gala- the magazines largest fundraiser support the magazines production and distribution, help the growth of our internship programs that will increase college audience engagement initiatives.
Select sponsors will be invited to a V.I.P reception as well as other opportunities to engage with the contributors of XI Magazine and its supporters.
